PRACTICAL SECTOR INSIGHT

The investment case for powered digital infrastructure

These are representative transaction considerations informed by the types of opportunities and counterparties we engage with. They are not public listings or claims of completed transactions.

Powered land and campus development

Large AI and data-centre projects require more than available land. Investors will examine the evidence for grid access, phased energisation, power cost, permits, site control, fibre connectivity and construction readiness.

Brownfield and operational conversion

Existing industrial or compute facilities may offer established power and infrastructure, but the economics depend on transformer capacity, cooling, network upgrades, building suitability and the cost of replacing legacy equipment.

GPU and compute deployment

Compute investment introduces hardware procurement, utilisation, customer contracts, equipment refresh cycles and residual-value risks. Financing can involve staged equity, equipment debt, strategic partners or a combination.

What a serious investor needs

A clear power-delivery schedule, single-line power information where available, land/lease evidence, connectivity, cooling strategy, capex breakdown, revenue assumptions and an independently reviewable project model are valuable before detailed introductions.
